Fallingbrook Garage Sale in May
Every spring, the
Fallingbrook Community Association organizes a community-wide garage
sale. On that day, any family wishing to participate simply holds their
own garage sale. The advantage is that we do the advertising, and there
are many, many participants. People come from far away in order to shop
at our garage sale.
Fallingbrook Garage Sale
Saturday May 19
As of Wednesday May 16, the weather forecast is "sunny with cloudy
periods" for Saturday. It looks like we will have 5 straight days
of good weather. So the community garage sale IS A GO for May 19.
Sorry about it being on a long weekend.

Fallingbrook
Garage Sale Rained Out
The
weather did not cooperate with this May's community-wide garage sale,
with steady rain on both Saturday and Sunday. We are asked to set
the date months in advance so that people and groups can make plans.
We are rethinking this strategy.
An alternative is to hold the garage sale on "First good weekend in
May". We then decide on the Wednesday before the event, based on
weather forecasts.
If you have an opinion on how we should schedule the Fallingbrook garage
sale,
send me an email.
To be notified by email when the date of the next garage sale has been
determined, subscribe to the Fallingbrook Community Association's
email notification list.
Season finished for outdoor rinks
The Fallingbrook Community Association operates 3
outdoor skating rinks.
The rinks are now closed for the 2011-2012 season. Thanks to
rink coordinator Nick O'Connell and his rink managers and
attendants.
