Fallingbrook Queenswood Heights
Tennis Club
Full Day Camp 2008
The full day tennis camp’s daily activities fall into three main
categories: on-court tennis instruction, off-court sports and spirit
activities. On most camp days, the on-court activities will be
roughly 3.5 hours a day. The off-court activities will encompass 2
different sports lasting usually one hour each. The spirit
activities such as: country cheer, country information day, crazy
hair day (the counselors favourite), country colour day and dress
like a counselor day, all take place during the first half hour at
camp. All of these different activities are included to appeal to
the many different interests of our campers.
The two main objectives of the camp are FUN and tennis improvement.
Each day there will be different tennis skills taught on the court
and a wide range of off court activities to participate in. Some of
these activities include: swimming, soccer, tennis baseball, and
capture the flag.
The tennis skills taught will be as follows:
Monday- working on forehand and backhand and serve.
Tuesday – working on rallying with a partner and consistency.
Wednesday- working on volleys and net play. Also on Wednesday, all
campers will play in a triples tournament.
Thursday- doubles tournament and review of skills.
Friday – singles tournament and review of skills.
If your child does not have a racket they can use one of ours for
